Clickety Click click click

imageOver to Jane Loves Tarzan, in the Rent my Blog thumbnail. Jane is an intelligent and warm hearted lady, whose blog holds such diverse posts, labeling it would be difficult. As a member of my favorites list, I have seen her discuss current events, sports, politics, religion, her struggles and triumphs in her personal life and what it is to live with Bi-polar disorder.

In the words of Forest Gump, Jane’s weblog is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will find, until you go there! (Yes, I changed his quote some) She is part of a group of my favorites that I consider good friends, as well as a weblog that teaches me new and interesting subjects. Check her out, and be sure to tell her 3T sent you.

Thank-you Jane for renting from me! I enjoy when a member of my blogroll wants to, as it easy to pimp those I already LOVE! So click over to Jane and show her some love, she deserves it.

xx’s & oo’s

Apropos Appreciation

My heart is filled with an appreciation for the many quality friendships I’ve established while blogging. This is all about that appreciation.
imageThis is a “shout out” to Rachel at Bitchalicious! (I always wanted to use that term, “shout out.” Like, all the cool kids use it! I’m sure it sounds unnatural coming out of me. I’m OK with that) wink Rachel has again surprised me with this beautiful new design for my page, and I am humbled and awed by her creativity, skill and generous spirit. What truly amazes me about her design capabilities, is her ability to capture part of who you are, and convey it in her designs.

When I originally hired Rachel to set up my page. And by set-up, I mean set up. I didn’t know squat about blogs, blogging and codes meant nothing to me, except for the different codes the hospital I worked at, would call. (i.e. code blue) She started with a blank sheet when I hired her. She had my screen name, my blog name and 100 things about me to go on. Rachel captured exactly what I wanted, working from those three items, and a few various posts.

She went on to design a Holiday theme, that continued the feel of Stumbling/Grace to perfection. And now her latest surprise that not only wowed myself, but my husband as well! We talked for a little while on the phone last evening, about her web designing; why she chose this as her profession. It appealed to her creative nature, especially when clients would give her a free hand, much like I did in the beginning. A decision I have never once had qualms about, nor do I now. I wear this new design proudly Rachel, and love it completely!

I urge all potential clients, when communicating what you’re looking for, to give her a free hand at the design, colors and set-up. This lady knows what she is doing, and will surprise you at what she is able to create! She will give you what you didn’t know you were looking for, and you will love it! Thank you Rachel for expressing your creativity and gifting me with it! I love you and you have my loyalty and friendship always! Lunch next week???

This beautiful photograph was taken by the talented Christine Fron (a.k.a. Bitchatude, Glasshoppha) and is part of several photographs available for purchase from her gallery thru art.com. I also have had it marked as a favorite thru her flickr photographs for many months. This favorite of mine, arrived at my home this last week, as a Christmas gift from Bitchatude and DB. (her very significant and handsome other!) Arriving matted and framed to perfection, it now hangs on our photograph wall right above one of her favorite photographers’ prints, Ansel Adams. A heartfelt thank-you to this wonderful couple, who I am proud to call my friends! Christine’s talent as a photographer is undeniable and I have a feeling she is only just beginning. Be sure to check out her lovely photographs which you can access thru a.k.a.Glasshoppah. Thank you Bitchatude and DB, your gift is treasured!

My appreciation for this couple, does not stop with their thoughtful, generous and lovely gift! DB and Bitchatude have become friends that I have shared with on an even more personal level thru email for quite some time. Of late, these two kind hearted, caring people helped me thru something that had affected me emotionally. I received a review on my site done ANON. thru Blog Explosion, that I can only say stunned and hurt me. They helped me see it for what it is/was. That being, not worth my time or energy dwelling on. So I won’t, any further then to say, “thank you” to these two wise and caring people! I love you two and am looking forward to visiting towards the end of May! grin

Although I have already thanked a few bloggers personally thru email for their thoughtfulness over the Holiday Season, I wanted to do so here. Jade, your goodie box of all things sensual, for Kevin and I, were a fun addition to our getaway to Laughlin! I treasure your friendship girlfriend! Jane, my latest renter from Rent my Blog sent me a box full of Holiday goodies, hot chocolate, (my latest binge drink!) home made candy, and assorted other goodies, that made our Christmas celebration a real treat! Thank you Jane, your thoughtfulness touched my heart! Ma, who I love dearly, sent us a gorgeous Hawaiian Calendar, that spurred our decision to make this coming vacation to their beautiful Island! I love you Ma! I look forward to giving you a great big hug when we get there!

This week-end will be another freaking football week-end! Yay.  Woohoo. Yaaa.... On the upside, I’ll have plenty of time to read blogs and post! Due to football, I get to pick the movie Kevin and I are going to see tomorrow night. So we are off to see Brokeback Mountain. Always a sucker for a love story, I’ll be sure to let everyone know what I thought.

Quickly, I would like to ask everyone to click on my Rent my blog Renter, Jane! I’ll give a more detailed post this week-end, but suffice it to say, she has been on my favorites list almost since the beginning. Her blog is another one I would have a very hard time categorizing one way or another. A personal diary, with so much more. This lady touches on so many different topics, it’s always worth the read!

Hope your Thursday is going great!

Love,

3T

A Monday Meme

Today’s Meme is brought to you by Spider Walk, who tagged me to write three weird things about me. Be sure to check Spider Walks’ out as they are interesting and actually reminded me of one of the weird things I don’t normally share with ANYONE. This has not been shared with the hubby even! Well, now it is. I may not ever get him to kiss me again now. But if he does, it will be a TRUE testament of his love! wink

I was tagged by Oh Girl, I think a week ago, to write 5 weird things about me....and like all things that I procrastinate on....(Sorry Oh Girl! I’m adding it in here.) Actually I’m not adding it, because adding would mean 3 + 5 = 8. (I know, I know! The virtues of a public education. I can add.) But I will do 5 weird things, that will cover BOTH tags. Be sure to check out Tech Wench too! She did this Meme as well!  wink

1. When I was approximately 6 yrs old, OK maybe I was 7 yrs old, I kissed a toad smack on the lips, looking for my Prince Charming! (And yes I realize 7 is a bit young to go hunting for your Prince Charming. Yet, in retrospect it took me until 38 years old to find him, so maybe not. My father likes to tell the story, except he changes my age to 16. And I don’t argue, as he is Dad, and arguing would mean having to tell him I had long since graduated from toads by age 16...and that isn’t somewhere I want to go with Dad! grin

2. I go on food binges. Not the set down and eat everything in sight type. But the I LOVE coke floats, and I will eat one every night for a month, and then abruptly stop. I have gone thru coke float binges, vanilla ice cream smothered in chocolate sauce binges, jelly bellies (tiny jelly beans) binges, and my current every single night binge, is hot chocolate. Last night I had 3 mugs of hot chocolate, one right after the other. During December it was Sees Candy, and I lost track of how many boxes the hubby bought me.

3. I have drank a Slim Fast creamy milk chocolate for breakfast every single day for the last 10 years. Never more than one. If I don’t have my Slim Fast in the morning, it throws my whole daily routine off. Unfortunately my 10 yr old son, has picked up on this habit, and now he wants a Slim Fast everyday. (I’ve relented, as it does have vitamins in it, and they cut the sugar content in half. It beats Nestle milk chocolate)

4. I’m an email pack rat. I have over 25 different folders, saving all personal emails. About every 6 months I go thru the folders and re-read and try and delete some. If you’ve emailed me, it’s sitting in a folder. This one is partially tied to number five.

5. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and would be considered a sentimental sap, so to speak. And make no apologies for it. If I love you, chances are I have communicated that in one form or another, or several. (This probably makes me creepy, so be it!) wink

And now the part of the Meme that could very well get me lynched, so I’ll try and pull from faraway places, where you can’t get at me! grin

My tags will go to: Jaded Sunburns Bitchatude Corporate Crap & Other Dubious Wisdom Tutu Bent and Digital Fishwrap.

Hope everyone had a decent Monday!

Love,

3T

Nonsensical Flounderings

imageMik & Carolyn from Nonsensical Flounderings, are my latest tenants with the Rent My Blog program thru Blog Explosion. Carolyn is American, Mik is English, together they make their home in Seattle Washington. Having created their blog in May 2005, their posts consists of their observations on life, love and any other topic that catches their fancy! wink (Yes, I took his words on that one)

Living in my old stomping grounds of the Pacific NW, makes them a favorite from the start. Their observations are always interesting, and written well, and have that English flavor to them, that I find charming. Miks post today was an observation made while waiting for a bus, of what sounded like a domestic dispute played out on the sidewalk for all to see. Being someone who enjoys people-watching, (especially when there is something to watch) I was completely entertained! Yesterday’s joke was cute too, Mik! grin

So I am asking that everyone who reads here, to click on the “Rent my blog” thumbnail, and check out Nonsensical Flounderings. Say a hello to Mik and Carolyn, and tell them 3T sent you over! I know they will entertain you. They just put up a new blog design that I love, as well!

Hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable week-end!

The Bloggin Bizatch - My New Tenant & So Much More

image
I received one bid, from The Bloggin Bizatch, and snapped her up immediately! Why? The simple fact that when I rented HER site, it rendered 107 original clicks. Although I doubt I have 107 different readers (well maybe, on a good week) I wanted a chance to rent to her none the less. But then, having never really perused her site, I needed to read some, to write a post pimping her out!

Which leads me to one of the most enjoyable developments to come out of this Blog Explosion, “Rent My Blog” program! The Bloggin Bizatch cracked me up! Consistently! This lady can write! With a funny edge to her posts, she always lets us know, what’s on her mind. With titles like, “Can Magical Vaginas Replace Maniacal
Midgets????” and “One Order of Death for Me Please” I found myself digging deeper thru her posts. The Bizatch writes with satire, sarcastic humor and intelligence. Whether she’s taking a current event and creating satire, or an observation regarding her personal life, her posts are always well written and filled with a humorous insight and spiced with a down to earth common sense. Which always wins me over hands down.

The Bloggin Bizatch is the newest member of my favorites list. Simply put, she entertains me. My take on her is that she doesn’t take things too seriously, and can easily find the humor in most situations. My favorite post of the Bizatch (so far) is “dear Mandalay bay,...” written 9/23/05 followed closely by The Horror called Classmates.com written 8/7/05. Hilarious observations, that had me relating to her, from a few of my own experiences with BAD customer service, and crazy, sleazy, low-rent rednecks.
image
The Bloggin Bizatch doesn’t pull any punches, telling it like she sees it, but does it with a style I love! So now, I’m asking all readers here to heed my call and click over to The Bloggin’ Bizatch and check her out. You will not regret it. She is entertaining in 20 different ways. Now for the obvious, The Bloggin Bizatch is a hottie! Beautiful, funny, intelligent, sarcastic, satirical and entertaining!

Go click on her thumbnail and show her some love. This Bizatch deserves it!

Thanks!

Tech Wench - A Goddess!

image

And my newest Rent My Blog tenant! Tech Wench is a long time favorite and friend, so choosing her was a no-brainer! This beautiful lady, is smart and talented in too many ways to count. As a blogger, the first word that comes to mind is snarky. But I more often then not find myself laughing at her observations, written in her own unique style! Possessed with a sarcastic, biting sense of humor, she is one who says it like she sees it! An attribute I can get behind, understand and appreciate.

Her categories are: I’m a Geek, I Say Fuck, Woohoo, I Bitch, Bwahaha, Work Sucks, Web Design and Other, which holds many of her more personal posts. From her wide range of categories, I would find it hard to label her weblog in one specific area. Her skills and talent as a gifted Web Designer are a strong presence in her blog. Her personality always shines thru all of her posts, which brings us back to snarky, humorous and intelligent. Yes, I completely LOVE this lady!

One thing I have to say, as I cannot possibly write a post regarding this lady without mentioning this. With all of her snarky humor, her succinct, assertive down to earth writing, this woman possesses a heart of gold. (She’s going to kill me for this) wink Her designs are seen and known throughout Blogland. When a few of us parents and grandparents set up blogs for our children, creating Jr. Bloggers, Tech Wench took it upon herself to design all of these Jr.Bloggers their own unique design. (My daughter Tayler’s blog included.) I was so touched by her thoughtful and giving spirit, and I know there are Jr. Bloggers out there that will always be grateful.

One of the areas in which Tech Wench has influenced my blogging is one of her pet peeves. Spelling. She is a stickler for correct spelling and grammar, and was the one who had me checking my spelling and grammar more often.(OK, it was out of a little fear, but fear can be an excellent motivator) wink For this I thank her, as I see this as a positive influence, in a hobby where continuing to improve in these areas, serves to make your weblog of a higher quality.

image
On a more personal note, Tech Wench is also a talented singer, and once in a while she gifts her readers with a sampling of her music. I’m hoping this post, will motivate another one of these gifts in the near future. (Maybe??? Please...when you’re not so busy??) The one song she sang a while back, was one she dedicated to her father, who recently passed away. A great man who was a talented performer and singer for many years. And who I’ve no doubt influenced Tech Wench in her own music. When I listened to her singing this song, I sat at my computer and cried like a baby. It touched parts of me so deeply I sent my own father to her site, to listen to it. With a message, that this would be what I would sing for my father, had God Blessed me with a voice that didn’t sound like a cat in heat. (a subject for another post, another day) I did search her site quickly, to locate this particular post, with no luck. So touching was this song, I am hoping she will one day re-post it for all to share in it again. As a person, Tech wench is dedicated to her family, a family that is close, loving and loyal to each other.

Tech Wench heads up West Designs, a company that specializes in custom weblog designs. To check out some of this ladies talented designs, be sure to click over to West Designs. You can also see some of this ladies beautiful creations by checking out some of the Jr.Bloggers sites in my Daily Reads.

I am honored that Tech Wench is here on Stumbling / Grace, and ask all readers to click on the Rent My Blog thumbnail, and show this great lady some love! Go ahead. Do it. (Be sure to check your spelling before posting a comment though) wink

Tech Wench, you SOOO RAWK!

wink
