Prayers Lifted Up

I wanted to take a moment, and ask anyone who runs across this site, whether accidentally, thru blog explosion, or because you come here regularly, to take the moment that you are here, and lift up in prayer Charley, Ma’s husband and Tech Wenches, Kaos’, and Wired’s Pops.

I believe in a God of Healing, and the Power of Prayer. So I ask all to take this moment and pray for Charleys healing! This family is a warm, unique and special family. And I want you all to know my prayers are being lifted up, in the morning, the afternoon and the evening!

All my love and prayers to this family,
3T

Some heartfelt Thank-Yous & Congratulations!

Ma, the photos you sent me of Kamalani were beautiful!! She is a very precious little girl and it’s blatantly obvious why you would be so proud of her! Kamalanis photos make ya want to pick her up and give her big squeezy hugs, and giggle and play! I really do want to meet the both of you face to face, and enjoy Hawaii with you! And on those delicious cookies? WOW! Were they ever a hit! One bag was inhaled last night when we got home from the baby shower we attended. Tayler and I had a half dozen each. Excellent dipped in coffee by the way. Then, the hubby and all right mainly Riley literally inhaled the rest of the bag! The 2nd bag will be enjoyed more slowly with me doling them out! wink I just want to say how touched I am you took the time out to send me both the pics. and the Hawaiian cookies!  You are truly the gem I thought you were from the first time I met you via blogworld! Thank you Ma. grin Now my brain is working on what I can send you, to give you a taste of the desert life. I highly recommend, that all readers who want to feel the spirit of Hawaiian culture, the aloha spirit, to check out Ma (aka Tutu) at Tutu Bent’s Hale! She is truly one of the great ladies of Hawaii!

Proud Blogathon 2005 Zazzafooky Sponsor!!!

Blogathon 2005 will commence this Saturday! One of my favorite reads TJ at Zazzafooky will be participating with the proceeds going to a very worthwhile and appropriate charity! TJ will stay up all night, posting every half hour ALL NIGHT for the charity Book Aid International. Whose motto is “If Education is the road out of poverty, books are the wheels needed for the journey.” (Richard Crabbe Chairman, African Publishers Network 1997-2002)

Reading and having the books available is such a basic to so many of us here in the United States, I would say a good deal of us take it for granted. Book Aid International works hard to get books to people who would not otherwise have them available. I know I don’t need to explain how appropriate a charity this is as bloggers. I think TJ has chosen a very worthwhile charity, and I wholeheartedly support her in this endeavor!

And I am asking readers here at Stumbling / Grace to check out Zazzafooky and support her as a sponsor of Blogathon 2005! She is giving up a full nights sleep, to participate in the Blogathon. As bloggers this is our opportunity to make a difference as a group! There are thousands of us, and if we all chip in, even if it’s a dollar, we can and will make a difference! We see Religions and Political groups doing great things, sometimes just by their sheer numbers. We as bloggers number into the thousands from all over the world! This Blogathon is all of us, making the statement that we care, and what we do is in fact worthwhile. Especially when we are able to work together to aid charities!

Books take us to whole new worlds, outside of our own. Providing this opportunity to those who are not be able to afford it, is an altruistic, caring gesture that speaks volumes about us as a group. So even if you can only afford a dollar, go over to Zazzafooky and show her we care, and are cheering her on! If you can’t afford it, go over and leave a comment, telling her you support her, and will be reading her posts, which will equal 48 post when all is said and done!

If you want to read more on Book Aid International, TJ has the link there on her site for you to check out. I take this opportunity to say “TJ, you are a wonderful, unique and special person! I will be reading your Blogathon posts, with fingers crossed and prayers said! Bless your heart! And all of those who choose to support her!

Love,
3T

PS. On a side note, I am very excited to have a whole 48 posts of TJ writing to read over the week-end! You go girl! grin

A Twisted Turn of Events

Yesterday was a swim day with my kids. I had one of my girlfriends, affectionately dubbed as one of my homegirls over, with her kids. We had in the past always gotten together to “do lunch” and catch up on all the latest gossip, at least once a month. Well we haven’t managed to get together for quite some time now, nearly 4 months to be exact!  The rest of our lunch buddies, some of them, I haven’t talked to for five months! Time flies when...time just freakin’ flies!

So by the time that Jenny walked thru my front door, we had tons to catch up on! Jenny is eight months pregnant, and I enjoyed taking tons of pics of her, and her growing baby/belly, as well as her adorable kids. In between trying to catch up on the rest of the home girls. Overall it sounds as if everyone is doing well. Some information I got via emails from the girls, but usually the “juicy” details are left out, set aside for face to face dish sessions over a Cosmo.

But this story, blew my mind, and had me laughing. Cuz seriously, you would think this was a lifetime movie, not reality. “L” had been seeing a married man off and on for quite a few months. She met him on a dating site, where his status had been listed as “separated”.  They saw each other for a while, eventually becoming intimate. And L fell hard! She was falling in love with him. He was attentive, fun, and “skilled”. Of course that’s when he came clean about his married and never been separated status. She continued to see him, but now there was the dark cloud hanging over the relationship. My last email from L stated she was no longer seeing him, the events that precipitated the break were not elaborated on.

Now for the rest of the story. L and Mr. Right Now, went out on his boat one lovely Saturday, knowing that he was supposed to meet his wife late in the day. The wife put in an early appearance, and caught Mr. Right Now and L together on his boat. From what I gathered the usual drama that you would expect from such a gathering occurred. L backed away, as you would expect. But…

Jr. Bloggers- There’s More!!!

The list keeps growing! I am gathering together a few more URL’s of Jr. Bloggers, and a couple I should have added to the list, but just spaced, in my previous post. I’m going to put together a more complete list in the near future, with the Jr. Bloggers I just spaced on, and a few that have been added, thru the last post. So if you have a Jr. Blogger you want to add, let me know in the next couple of days. We have quite a few your kids can add to their list as well as adding your to ours!

One in particular, Tayler had on her list, and somehow I missed it was Bratgrrl. I’m sorry Bratgrrl! Tayler has had you on her list. All I can say is I’m old with a bad memory!;-) Her URL is http://www.wingedemotion.com/bratgrrl She is 11 years old, going into 6th grade in August. She is creative and artistic, a talented singer and songwriter, who loves to read, and is an all around great kid! Occasionally making her siblings miserable, which of course we know is every siblings hobby. wink

We have another young one, who it would be really fantastic if some of our “older” Jr. Bloggers would welcome and encourage! He is 7 and a half years old, and wants to be a cartoonist/illustrator one day. You can see a sample of his artwork on his latest post at his site http://tris-trat.blogspot.com/ Ricks mom is PureMood http://0901.blogspot.com/ and she would love for mentors and parents alike to post an encouraging comment for her Jr. Blogger! PureMood is hoping to find more Jr. Bloggers out there her sons age. And at the rate we are running across Jr. Bloggers, I don’t think she will have too wait long.

One other new Jr. Blogger is One Local Babe http://kauionalani.blogspot.com/ who lives in Hawaii and is Missy A Local Girls http://localgurl.blogspot.com/ bestfriend! She enjoys swimming and hanging out with Missy. Be sure to welcome One Local Babe to Blogland!

I’ll post a complete list of Jr. Bloggers later this week!

Introducing the NEWEST Sexy Bitch in Blogland!!

I have the honor and pleasure of introducing a New Sexy Bitch in Blogland! The new weblog Oh Girl http://www.ohgirl.blog-city.com/ is only a little over a week old. So as she plays with it, getting the hang of it, I thought it would be neighborly to ask everyone to go say hello to Ohgirl! She is in a real sense a neighbor of mine, living here in the East Valley area of Arizona.

Ohgirl has been reading my blog for a little while now, and has commented a time or two as well. After another friend of hers Nicole, and myself encouraged her to start one of her own, she did! Ohgirl also has an extremely intriguing job, working for none other then Fascinations, an adult sensual store! I am very much looking forward to some of her tales working in the world of adult entertainment. Wait! That didn’t quite sound right. Ohgirl is the Director of Human Resources with Fascinations. (Yep, that’s better) wink

Oh girl, picked her blog name, for a couple of reasons. She moved to Arizona originally from OHio, and I think she mentioned to me as well, that her car license plate reads Ohgirl. Another (unintentional?) meaning was of course, due to the nature of her workplace, some read it as short for Orgasm Girl. A meaning she is more then fine with. Ohgirl just had a Birthday June 23rd, so it would be nice to wish her a belated birthday. She had a new and interesting experience on her birthday that I am hoping she will tell us all about too!

Ohgirl http://www.ohgirl.blog-city.com/ just turned 47 years young! Of course she doesn’t look anywhere near 47 years young, with her 5’8” legs all the way to heaven slim frame, brunette hair with sun-kissed blonde highlights thru it!  She is living with the love of her life( who she refers to as Honey, or aka; Honey Bunny) that she met on Match dot com two and half years ago. I cannot wait to find out their story! Having met my hubby thru U-date dot com, this may not be a new phenomenon, but it is one I love hearing about! People connecting, that in everyday life, may have never met, if not for the internet dating sites!

Oh girl has an adult son who is 24 years old, that she loves as much, and worries as much, as I do about Robby! Learning to let go of our adult children is not an easy lesson, and it helps to hear that other moms struggle with the same issues. From what I have gathered Oh girl http://www.ohgirl.blog-city.com/ is having a great time living the desert life, sipping cocktails by her pool. Which reminds me, ask her what a Z-tini is, or what’s in it? She mentioned enjoying Z-tinis at Z-Tejas, and I have never heard of a Z-tini. (I need to get out more) wink
