Nice 3T. Your father sounds like an amazing guy to know. It’s telling that he gets so much joy from the various personalities he encounters. I’m sure to Beverly and Barbra, he is part of their extended circle of people in their life they are fond of.

Your father sounds like an absolutely amazing man!  I read my way through this post with a lump in my throat.

Thank you so much for sharing such touching memories.

How ‘bout taking down that disgusting banner.  Somehow looking at a vulva and then some kids with a bus driver doesn’t quite work.

Sandy~
I have NO IDEA what you’re talking about! You’re seeing this on my site? Where?

Hey, 3T I took care of it for you.
Sandy, there is a hotlinking script up since I have had many many problems with it on my server. I obviously forget to include BlogExplosion on the allowed list.
A simple explanation or even an email would be nice. You however have to be a dirty cunt and just make an off the wall comment that makes no sense whatsover.

Come to think of it… if the vagina bothers you so much than why did you click on it?
Now, carry yourself back to your boring as shit blog.

I know exactly what you are talking about. My hubs is a music therapist at a day center for developmentally disabled and mentally and physically challenged adults. The stories he comes home with are priceless. He loves the days when he can see that a client gets something he is teaching or someone from another room comes up to him in the hall and gives him a big high five. If only we could all enjoy life like that. smile

Sandy,

I don’t know, call me uptight or overly concerned with manners, but if I find something offensive enough that it warrants a written response, I’d pen my concerns in a private email. Not in the comments section of an entirely unrelated post.

You’re right, i feel certain, just the hunt for those socks will make your day. Thanks for making mine with this beautiful story.

What a beautiful story. I think if I were you, I’d be shopping for butterfly socks, too.
I don’t think the public realizes how very difficult it is to be a bus driver. The driver’s test they have to pass is brutal, MANY fail the 1st try. Everyday they have to do a very thorough checkup on the vehicle & they only have so long to do it. A big CONGRATS to your dad on his new career!

Aw, now that’s a story I like to hear.

My FIL was a busdriver for over twenty years. He has experienced nice people, mean people etc but he always kept it up til he retired a few years ago. Butterflies are free!
