What a precious thought. Do you know which she prefers (cash or bear)? When Dakota gets in on the 10th, I’ll bring him over to her site to finalize our contribution. Let me know.

I think you are more than right! Every celebration should come to us together with the thought that there are a lot op people that can’t be as happy as we are and that we should do something about it. It’s very good to have such thoughts, but it is not enough. Helping them means thanking God for what we have.
I couldn’t agree more. We all need to be more thankful on a daily basis of our wonderful blessings. Thanks for the attention to this great gift. I’m on my way to check it out.
Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes you left at my site ... and I read your comment at Chatty’s. I hosting a dinner for 14 people (counting me) plus there will probably be a half-dozen of dogs to join my two.
Yesterday, when I realized my big-ass dining table would only comfortably seat 12, I went into a frenzy about not having anyone sitting in the living room using tray tables. It’s a good thing my LilBro and I both work in construction. I now have a dining table to seat 14.
One of the best things about the holiday season is the “out of the box” gift giving that strikes so many. It should occur more than just the holiday season, but this time of year reminds us how fortunate and unfortunate some of us are. I know in my school alone we buy presents for our own students, most of whom cannot get all of the Christmas presents they would want otherwise. It’s things like this that make the holiday season bearable.

Already got Rachel linked up to the Princess page and have got three gorgeous specimens of bear waiting to hit the post office on Monday.
