Agree with you completely on this blasted month. Though for different reasons. Up here in the great white north, it is by far our coldest month. And I hate long underwear!
Every month has been cursed for us lately, lol. I keep wondering when it’s all going to end.
I’m praying that this February is kinder to you than the previous ones!
(And by the way, reading about the doctor not caring about 3’s pain just boiled my blood. Seems so typical of the medical profession these days, unfortunately.)
...and me? I have to disagree as February is about the calmest month I have. The garden is dormant, the farm is under a foot of snow, and (normally) my work load is non-existant. It is my one month to sit guilt-free in front of the fireplace and watch the cardinals and bluejays at the feeder, the book or knitting in my lap, and my critters at my feet and feel a sense of calm and peace in the world.
I certainly can understand YOUR problems with February tho’… and I, too, have had Teri’s experience with doctors who have no compassion whatsoever. I had the same trouble with a herniated disk that finally took surgery, but until they FOUND it with an MRI, pretended it was all in my head. Asshats. I digress…
Try and have a happy February. Maybe this will be the year the curse is broken?
OK… I’d like to believe the whole “glass half empty” outlook on February may have you cursed… but it just seems like too much to over look… Hope this month is uneventful to say the least… xoxo
It seems like the blogging world goes into a funk at the same time. And while I hate to admit it, it does seem like it’s been since February started. And I hate to say this too, but Mercury will be in retrograde starting mid-Feb., which should make things a little more screwy than regular Februarys.
The good thing is we have our families & our good health, right? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Al--Having spent most of my life in the northeast, I always tell my stepkids they will never be with me or their mother in snow. February just makes winter extra cruel.
Blondeblogger--Yes, every month can bring miseries, but February just seems to have more. And don’t get me started on doctors or it’ll be February 08 before you know it.
CP--I pray you have a better year in 07.
Sue--Always glad to hear someone else is doing better in February, but 3T and I remain unpersuaded. It’s a bad month for us, and, I daresay, most.
Case in point: That astronut in diapers isn’t having a great February.
Rishel--We love you too, girl. Say hi to the spouse!
Tori--And I only provided a fraction of the “evidence” I could have provided.
Bug--Thanks so much for the good wish. But it won’t do any good. LOL.
Becky--Thanks for your postive thoughts. They won’t help either. LOL.
Jane--Wish you hadn’t mentioned Mercury in retrograde. I think 3T and I will just stay in bed the rest of the month!
Mizmell--I did not present superstition, but hard unfortunate fact. Next Friday the 13th, by the way, is in April. Tax time no less.
At least it’s a short month...I never liked December...that’s my yucky month. Sending good light and a reversal of fortune..throwing your bad luck Febs in a balloon and sending it far away.
I don’t know about a curse but it has always been a suck ass month. Mercury is in retrograde so that might have something to do with it if you are inclined to believe in astrological gravity and its consequences. It is the most likely month in Florida for Temps to get in the 60’s and I really hate that. I didn’t move from NY to feel sixty degrees. We did successfully ignore V-Day.

I hate February too. Most of March, part of April, a bit of May, some of June, a lot of July, all of August except for my birthday.
I like Sept, Oct, Nov...and then, hate December and January.
The whole year is pretty much a wash for me.

Hope nothing happens to y’all this Feb! *hugs*
May you both get through this February un-scathed—you deserve it!

February is short and does include V-Day in the middle… but hey, I understand suspersition.
Do we have a Friday the 13th any time soon?

Here’s hoping the rest of the month is going better. And here’s to a quick end to this month of months. Thank goodness it’s the shortest.
happy valentines day! the month is HALF OVER!

What an ominous post considering the site hasn’t been updated since the beginning of the month. Are things really that bad?!
