Congratulations on quitting smoking! That’s so great:)
I love, love, love NYC so I hope you have a great time. I’ve seen Mamma Mia and it’s a cute show. i was surprised b/c I wasn’t sure how I could take two hours of ABBA, but they pull it off rather well. I saw Phantom, Wicked and Chicago on Broadway and the first was my favorite, by far (it was better than when I saw it in one of the national tours).
After seeing Matt Lauer in Ireland last week on The Today Show, that’s one of my top “to-dos” as far as going out of the country. If you haven’t been to San Francisco, I highly recommend it!
I love, love, love NYC (stealing that from Becky) and the surrounding area. I’ll be in Long Island towards the end of this week for some training for work. My schedule doesn’t give me a lot of time for entertainment, but OMG! I’m going to go to NYC. (I still get that excited even though I’ve been there at least a dozen times.)
Also ... I love, love, love Mama Mia. I saw it in Vegas. If you like ABBA, you should like the show.
Make sure to take a lot of pictures and share them.
I can’t tell you how pleased I am to hear that you quit. With a month under your belt, you are far past the acute relapse phase, and well into making this a permanent change. Congratulations Teri!
New York will be amazing. As to new ones to add to your list…
1) London, just before Christmas.
2) San Francisco, anytime
3) Swimming with dolphins
4) The Museum of Tolerance in LA.
5) South Africa ~ MUCH longer plane ride, but worth it
Congratulations on quitting...what a wonderful accomplishment.
I feel your pain about flying. Honey and I have planned a trip to Jamaca in July and I break out in a sweat just thinking about the long flight. You will love love NY (and well worth the flight). It’s been many years since I have been there but I remember it like yesterday. Have fun girlfriend!
You will LOVE New York. If you like jazz, check out the Blue Note. Also, if it is still playing, I highly recommend Monty Python and Holy Grail. Hillarious!
YAY! I’m so proud of you for the non-smoking thing. Good for you!
NYC? I’ve never been. It is still on MY “to do” list… be sure and take lots of pics and give us a full report. Sounds like you are making wonderful plans.
Since you haven’t posted in awhile, I was startled & a bit frightened when I read the title. Now, I can relax.
How about Europe? Or Ireland? New England during fall. Prince Edward Island (that’s where they filmed Anne of Green Gables). Monterey, Calif...if you haven’t been there, it’s really nice.
I am SO proud of you for quitting smoking. You do whatever you have to do to stay quitted. (I know, that’s not English)
It’s been about 16 years since I lived in NYC, but I remember it well. There’s most certainly a “Wow” affect while you’re there. Look up and enjoy the skyline! good for you for quitting smoking too!
Visit Boston, home of the Red Sox and much better than the Yankees, on 4th of July and see the Boston Pops perform on the banks of the Charles River and see our fireworks..TIP for Hubby..book a hotel early, there is one on the Cambridge side of the river next to MIT that has porches with river views!! Boston a smaller cozier city experience on the East Coast! Often referred to as “The Hub Of The Universe”
“Please come to Boston for the springtime....”

Good to see you back and smokless! Have fun!!!
I’m so proud of you for quitting! Is that something you get to tick off your list?
Some of my favourite ticks have been: hot air balloon at sunset, skinny dipping in the ocean, and having a margarita on Mexico.
A few that I’d like to get around to: kissing at the top of the eiffel tower, seeing my name on the spine of a book, and meeting mickey
Congrats on quitting!!! That’s such a huge thing
I hope you have a great time in NYC.
You deserve it
