I would definitely recommend this CD. I don’t know about you Al, but the older I get, the more I enjoy music that is layed back but with a beautiful melody. For the most part, this one has it!
I loved the Eagles, even during their early 80’s commercial stuff. (The Long Run CD)
This double CD set has renewed my desire to listen to them more often. If I were to grade this CD, my opinion would be a B+. Almost an A, but there were a couple tracks that seemed a little weak. (Or reminsicent of The Long Run CD) That band is chalk full of talent, and worth every penny spent! I hope they find their way back to Phoenix for another concert soon. I would be the first in line for tickets.
I sure loved these guys back in the day. This sounds pretty damn nice, I must say. A bit odd to see four guitarists playing the same thing and only hearing one plus the lead. I know, I know, I’m a guitar geek though. Anyway, thanks for sharing, 3T.
Like The Raspberries, Grand Funk and others who have returned to touring, I hope these fine musicians will stick together and not let “age” deter their talent.
I like this album as well, we got it soon after the release. I grew up listening to them, and also like the laid back styling of their music. Love your Happy Holidays banner up top, really beautiful work!
Your experiment worked perfectly, it comes through beautifully. Tell Tayler she would be a successful teacher.
This was a nice surprise, as I’m a die hard Eagles fan! Would you recommend this CD? And is it me, or did Glen Fry not age particularly well? Ouch.

Glad you enjoyed this one, my friend!
