3T if you took that shot at the top of your entry, you really do have quite the talent. And of course if I have just put my foot in my mouth, and you haven’t taken that shot, your photography is good anyway! smile

San Diego is one of my favorite places. Hope you all have a great time!

LOL
Thank you Al! grin Actually it is one of mine, so I appreciate the vote of confidence. I’m having fun with it; and I’ve been told that’s what counts.

I am looking forward to getting out of this heat, and feeling ocean breezes for a week. I agree, no better place to do it, than San Diego.

It’s so hot and humid here, too, and the dang storms keep going around us. The crops NEED it now. Grrrr… Hubs is grouchy about it all, but I try to remind him we’ve always gotten rain when we needed it, so hope “someone” is listening and we get it soon.

Enjoy San Diego. Hubs was in the Navy stationed there and he showed me the town several years ago. He loved it.

110+ degrees? I’d die. I think that would actually kill me..

I’m so jeaous! I wanna head for the beaches too. Not a chance this year tho. I’m starting the countdown of back to school. Ahh, it will be nice.

Monsoons? Aren’t those supposed to bring rain? I forget what that is....rain.

I thought everyone went to AZ for the Dry Air..oh and when it got over 100 degrees...it was a nice dry heat..I’m gonna suffer through another cool breeze off the Atlantic Ocean..Hopoe things get better for you soon..I like storms too!

School clothes shopping?  You are killing me! Ha ha.  We’ve been inundated with rain.  Normally not a big deal, but it is the Mr.’s vacation.  So, rather than boating it, I’ve been thinking of day trips to take his mind off of being ticked off. smile Missed your posts! smile

I love the picture.
110? wow!
I live in Southern California and I start to complain when it’s 90+ haha

How funny that 102 is “bearable.” It’s actually been pretty humid here as well, or at least far more so than the norm for this area.  Even though our highs are low 70s, I’m still getting sweaty just running around and trying to get ready for work.

I always knew that the old saying that “dry heat” isn’t as bad was a load of %@!

Here’s hoping it’s cooled off for ya!

I love San Diego. Do you need a babysitter with a pig while you’re there? I hope by the time you’re here it won’t be humid anymore. But heck, you’ll be on the beach in San Diego, who the hell cares? lol
Are you guys going to Wild Animal Park? There are so many neat things to do there, unfortunately, I haven’t done any of them!
I hope you & your family have a fantastic time.

Sorry it has been so unbearable.  We’ve had some rain in Vegas to offset the temp, but ther has also been a bit of humidity.

Nowhere is perfect I guess

Awesome picture.  Sorry you are suffering through such high temps.  It isn’t much better here on the east cost with temps around 95 and humdity at 100%.  Thank god for air conditioning.

3T: In Phoenix, I recall a 106 degree day and the trouble with such a nice day like that is our bodies dehydrate before we realize it. Made for a sick afternoon. Hope your weekend is nice!

Ugh. I’m with ya. It was 109 here yesterday and I thought for sure I was going to melt right in my seat. We went to Sea World a few weeks ago and it is definitely a relief. Cool ocean breezes day & night!

It’s pretty desperate when you’re hoping for monsoons!

comment by Jay  on  08/08  at  08:05 PM

Still, it’smy favorite time of the year!
