One Year of Blogging!!!
Shit! And I had a special post tied to the day I started blogging. Which was January 12, 2005. I missed my own blogging Anniversary! I didn’t send myself flowers. I didn’t acknowledge the date in any way. I didn’t remember, period. It’s been one year since I first started writing in a blog called Stumbling through Life with Grace, and it came and went without me noticing. I checked the date I started blogging in December, making a mental note of it, so I wouldn’t forget to celebrate it. It came and went, with me oblivious.
Which is WHY I believe in a Birthday Week. Besides getting to be the obnoxious center of attention for a full week, (that might just be me) it also buys me the time I need for a Birthday to register in my head, and acknowledge it! Or an Anniversary. I made the mistake of getting married twice of my three times in August. And yes, more then once I screwed up the actual date of my Wedding Anniversary.
I went back and read some of my first posts, and I was truly under-whelmed. Ye Gads! I was going to re-post my first post in honor of this Anniversary, but quickly changed my mind after re-reading it. But still, the thought of when I first started this blog, and that it’s been a full year, brought a smile to my face. So this is it. My acknowledgement of one year of blogging!
I want to thank everyone who has commented and read Stumbling Through Life with Grace throughout the last year. The friendships that were born out of blogging are enough to make this day a special one for me to remember.
Love,
3T
